Quincy Engineering raises over $1000.00 for Sacramento CASA during the “Challenge for Children’s Charities”
Quincy Engineering is a consulting transportation design and construction management firm providing innovative, resourceful and cost effective engineering for bridge and transportation projects. During an impromptu fundraiser at the Quincy offices, the Quincy staff came up with a “Challenge for Children’s Charities,” and raised over $1,000 for Sacramento CASA. Thanks to our CASA, Carol Aubrey and all the employees at Quincy Engineering for their generous support of our program.
Highlands Consulting supports CASA's Mission
The Highlands Consulting Group, which provides business management consultants and professional project management services, has donated $2,000 to support Sacramento CASA’s work with abused and neglected children. Robyn Dahlgren, of The Highlands Consulting Group, said, “In recognition of Child Abuse Awareness month, we wanted to help give the light of hope to these children through our financial support. Rumsey Community Fund gives $15,000 to support Sacramento CASA’s work with emancipating foster youth
The Rumsey Community Fund was established in 2000 by members of the Rumsey Band of Wintun Indians as a philanthropic branch of tribal government. The fund provides over $1 million annually to non-profit organizations to strengthen regional programs and services in Yolo County and surrounding areas. To date, more than $8 million has been given to local organizations supporting education, community health, arts and humanities, environment, community development and social services.
This generous gift will be used to support Sacramento CASA volunteer advocates in preparing foster youth for emancipation; ensuring our youth have received necessary services and have a plan for their future after foster care.
The Ballard Group sponsors CASA’s Light of Hope celebration
Sacramento CASA has received a $1000 sponsorship from The Ballard Group for the upcoming “Give the Light of Hope to a Child” candlelight ceremony at William Land Park’s amphitheater on April 21st. The Ballard Group provides clients with Quality Assurance and Software Testing solutions for business-critical systems. President Marini Ballard presented the check to CASA, saying “The Ballard Group believes in the life-changing work of Sacramento CASA that gives the light of hope to children, and we want to be part of that. We’re impressed with the organization and proud to be a sponsor.”

For more than 50 years, MHA has focused on helping businesses, individuals and local governments build and sustain our communities. In keeping with their commitment to the community, MHA has generously donated $500 to Sacramento CASA for the “Give the Light of Hope to a Child” event. In addition to providing legal advice, they strive to partner with their clients to craft innovative solutions. Similarly, the firm is exploring additional opportunities to form a partnership in caring with CASA.
